"The glory of friendship is not the outstretched
hand, nor the kindly smile nor the joy of companionship; it is the spiritual
inspiration that comes to one when he discovers that someone else believes in
him and is willing to trust him."
~ Ralph Waldo Emerson

Small Christian Communities
The Catholic parish can be a large
and sometimes anonymous place. In response to this, some parishioners at St.
John's have begun to meet in smaller, more intimate settings. There are
currently three small Christian community groups which meet in the parish. These
provide a place where parishioners can share their faith, reflect on Scripture
and support one another in their Christian journey.
Each group has a different
time and place for meeting. If you are interested, contact one of the
coordinators and they may be able to help you find the community that best suits
your needs. |
